Barbabianca was the oldest man in the village. Tall, hir-sute, knobbly, with too-long hair and a too-thick beard. He had no gift for speech, but he did know how to strike awe. Barbabianca is a roleplaying game that requires no prep, to tell a story set in the deep Italian countryside at the turn of the Twentieth century. It's been a long, long time, and Barbabianca is no more. But this tale keeps echoing among the village stones. It is up to us to tell it. To whom, and how honestly, is something we will only learn at the end. Will we keep up our comforting farce, just as we always have,or will we accept the change that truth always brings?
